Getting Here


By Car:

Landhaus Alexa is approximately 60km south of Salzburg, just off the A10 motorway.  You leave at Exit 60 (Signposted to Eben im Pongau).  At the bottom of the slip road, turn right (signposted towards Niedernfritz and Hüttau).  Landhaus Alexa is approximately 1km down the road on the left, shortly before a small bridge, very near Steiner's Riding School.


Please note that due to our rural location, a car is essential for your holiday at Landhaus Alexa!

Travel by Car from England:

Austria is easily accessed by car on the ferry or tunnel from Dover to Calais and from Hull to Zeebrugge. The ferry from Hull to Zeebrugge is an overnight ferry and can refresh you before your trip onto Austria. The journey on the motorways through France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany is quite straight forward. There are no motorway tolls on this stretch of the journey. Before entering into Austria you will be required to purchase a ‘Vignette’ and stick this into your windscreen. This can be purchased at motorway service stations for approximately 8 Euros for 10 days.

The journey from the French coast takes approximately 10 to 14 hours depending on road conditions at the time.
